Once Dario gained his apprenticeship, in which he won several industry awards, he began his career working for several high profile salons within Australia.

As his career unfolded he realised he wanted to further himself outside of the salon space and thus entered the fashion and beauty industry as a session stylist. He worked on editorial fashion shoots, working with celebrities and media clientele whilst continuing to work in a salon environment in which he earned a reputation as the go to stylist within Australia.

In 1999 Dario also began his career as an educator, teaching and mentoring other hairdressers worldwide. His multi award winning education company, DCI Education is regarded as an elite hairdressing education business. Dario educates and inspires hairdressers around the world, working in the USA, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Norway, China, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand to name a few, demonstrating his unique and singular brand of education. “Not just how to cut hair, but why.” His ethos isn’t just about great hair education – It’s about supporting passionate people.
